Anthony David Gonzalez is a former American football tight end, who played in the National Football League for 17 seasons. He is considered among the greatest tight ends to ever play. Additionally, he was the leader in receiving yards, as well as the third-highest total of receptions, Gonzalez also was among the NFL tight end who had the highest number of receptions.
Tony Gonzalez is currently a FOX studio analyst on FOX studio. Gonzalez is an anchor for FOX NFL KICKOFF and FOX NFL KICKOFF. FOX NFL KICKOFF is FOX NFL's pregame show that airs prior to FOX NFLSUNDAY. The show airs at 11:00 am ET on Sundays during NFL season.
On March 15, 2013, Gonzalez agreed to re-sign with the Falcons for a 2-year, $14 million contract despite the fact that he had said the Falcons would let him go following the 2013 season. Randy Moss' retirement meant that Gonzalez was the NFL's leading receiver in active yards recieving his final season.
